Historic Cripple Creek, with its casinos and gold-mining history, is a quick 20 to 35 minute drive southwest on CO-67.

Mountain bikers have easy access to Rampart Reservoir's singletrack and, about 30 minutes away in northwest Colorado Springs, the newly expanded Blodgett Open Space trail system: seven miles of freshly built trail opened in 2026, including Blodgett Bike Hill's downhill-flow bike-only runs and additional multi-use singletrack, with more expansion planned. For road and mountain bikers alike, The Haven puts some of the Front Range's best riding within easy reach.
