Welcome to Western Mountain Builders, your trusted partner in custom home building west of the front range. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, we are establishing ourselves as a premier builder in the Western Mountain region, delivering exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled customer service.

We work and live in Colorado because of the extraordinary beauty and surroundings and only build home in the mountains, which requires specialized knowledge to navigate Colorado's mountainous regions.

Our focus is building semi-custom and custom homes in the Haven of Paradise Estates, located in Woodland Park. It's a two-phased project with phase I well underway.

Tom began his construction career in 1999, starting a residential construction business from scratch. His company has evolved from a one-man operation to a company comprised of four divisions, including semi-custom and custom homes.

Tera Kane

Interior Designer

Tera earned her undergrad in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin, is a nationally certified Interior Designer (NCIDQ), and holds a masters degree in Architecture from Texas A & M.

Tera has balanced her busy and successful professional career with raising four kids, a feat that is humbling to the best of us.

I have had a passion for art and design my entire life. With the encouragement of teachers and family, I decided to major in Interior Design at the University of Wisconsin where I earned my Bachelor's degree. My husband and I then moved to Texas where I continued to develop my design skills while earning my Master's degree in Architecture.

My first design position was with an Interior Designer in Wisconsin designing the children's ward at a local hospital.

Since then, I have gained experience with architects, designers, and landscape architects in Texas and Colorado. I contributed to a variety of projects including schools, churches, and government buildings while refining my talents.

I finally began putting those skills to use on some luxury custom homes in the Colorado Springs area.

I took a break from my career for a few years to raise my children and work in Children's Ministry at a local church while volunteering in their MOPS program. I feel this experience helped me grow as a person in my relationships with others and in my faith. I keep busy spending time with my family, as well as coaching competitive soccer with a local club and playing in a women's league whenever I can! I still volunteer at my church and Habitat for Humanity when time permits. I also teach drawing classes with an after school program as a way to help develop and encourage the younger generation in the arts.

Jason Pederson

Residential Design

Jason has been operating his residential design business from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains for almost 15 years. In 2023, he and his wife co-founded TEN4GOOD.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing Good around the world by crowdfunding charitable projects for communities in need. A portion of profit from every home designed goes directly to the efforts of TEN4GOOD.

After graduating from Cal Poly in Architectural Engineering, Jason Pederson, a Colorado native, made his home in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Jason began his residential drafting and design business in 2010, but in 2013 his designs took on far more beauty and inspiration. This was most likely a result of having recently married his beautiful and inspiring wife, Jennifer. Together they adopted Jackson, the dapper young boy in the photo, and find incredible joy in parenthood. Jackson's adoption made such a profound impact on their family that they decided to make funding adoptions the goal of their business. Dozens of builders and hundreds of families have joined this story.

Colorado Team was founded by Cameron McClellan in 2015. He launched his career in real estate in 2010 by interning with one of the top teams in the country. He found professional success at a high level, becoming Rookie of the Year and Top Producer in his office. That lead to a four year partnership as a Lead Buyer's Specialist. His expanding expertise in real estate allowed him to start Colorado Team based in Denver, CO.

Today Colorado Team specializes in residential real estate throughout Denver Metro and Colorado Springs. We are a team of highly skilled full time agents, designed to provide the highest level of service possible. We put our training, innovative technology, and team support to work for you, while focusing on your individual needs. Our agents have professional experience in investing, property management, home construction, and remodeling so you can count on our real world experience to guide you to the right property.

Brian Torres

Project Manager

After a brief stint in the Army, Brian began working in construction. During his 30+ year career, he's worked in every facet of residential construction, from owning his own business, to remodeling, to production home building, to custom home building - bringing extensive experience to our team.

I work closely with Homeowners and designers to bring everyones dream to life. I have been building dreams for over 25 years. My passion for building has fostered a desire to pay it forward. I have mentored students from Pennsylvania College of Technology and joyfully trained many others to take up this rewarding field. I have been blessed to win a Field Manager of the year award and achieve 3 consecutive super service awards from Angies List. When I'm not enjoying life on the job I get the added enjoyment of spending my down time with my beautiful wife and children.
