I have had a passion for art and design my entire life. With the encouragement of teachers and family, I decided to major in Interior Design at the University of Wisconsin where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. My husband and I then moved to Texas where I continued to develop my design skills while earning my Master’s degree in Architecture.

My first design position was with an Interior Designer in Wisconsin designing the children’s ward at a local hospital.

Since then, I have gained experience with architects, designers, and landscape architects in Texas and Colorado. I contributed to a variety of projects including schools, churches, and government buildings while refining my talents. I finally began putting those skills to use on some luxury custom homes in the Colorado Springs area.

I took a break from my career for a few years to raise my children and work in Children’s Ministry at a local church while volunteering in their MOPS program. I feel this experience helped me grow as a person in my relationships with others and in my faith. I keep busy spending time with my family, as well as coaching competitive soccer with a local club and playing in a women’s league whenever I can! I still volunteer at my church and Habitat for Humanity when time permits. I also teach drawing classes with an after school program as a way to help develop and encourage the younger generation in the arts.
